Are you a high school senior or college student pursuing a degree in biology, environmental studies, land use, earth and atmospheric studies, parks and recreation, or a related subject? If so, you might consider applying to ExtremeTerrain’s Student Scholarships! Each application cycle, the scholarship awards $2,500 to two lucky applicants. In order to apply, students must submit a 700 – 1,500 essay on the importance of “maintaining access to public lands for recreational use” and how they plan on using their degree to advocate for the recreational use of public lands. The scholarship is biannual, with deadlines on June 15th (to be considered for the Fall semester) and October 15th (to be considered for the Spring semester). If you’re passionate about the recreational use of public lands and want to earn some money to go towards your education, we encourage you to apply!
