Are you an NYSSCPA (New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants) Student Member from New York who is enrolled at or has been accepted to a post-secondary, New York State accounting program? If so, the Excellence in Accounting Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards up to $2,500 each to multiple NYSSCPA Student Members (membership is free) who are New York residents pursuing an accounting program in New York state. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA and submit an official transcript, a copy of their Student Aid Report (SAR) and Financial Aid Award Package, and an essay to be considered for the scholarship.

The FAE (Foundation for Accounting Education) is the education foundation of the New York State Society of CPAs. It sponsors continuing professional education and accounting scholarships for college accounting students attending New York State colleges or universities.
