At the American Studies Center at the University of Warsaw, the award holder will teach one graduate course per semester on a topic of their choosing. The Distinguished Scholar will also be expected to give public lectures, advise graduate students, and generally engage in the academic life of the ASC. Candidates are expected to have extensive teaching experience. It is expected that candidates will hold a Ph.D. in the humanities or social sciences and have at least 10 years of teaching experience.
