Are you a Black/African-American high school graduate from Arkansas who is enrolled in or has been accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational school? If so, you may be eligible for the Cornerstone Charitable Scholarship Trust Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship is awarded to multiple eligible Black/African current and incoming college students from Arkansas who demonstrate financial need and are between the ages of 17 and 25 years old. To apply, interested students must submit a completed Application Form, a copy of their Current Drivers License, a copy of their Social Security Card, their parents’ and/or their own current tax returns, a copy of their most recent transcript, and an essay of 250 words or less regarding themselves, their achievements, and career goals. Applications must be received by March 30th of the calendar year preceding your expected college enrollment date. The Cornerstone Charitable Scholarship Trust's purpose is to support economically disadvantaged students or students experiencing environmental risk in successfully completing college. Cornerstone Scholars go on to secure gainful employment and give back to their families and communities. They focus on awarding scholarships to assist disadvantaged university and college students with roots in the state of Arkansas who demonstrate financial aid needs.
