The Concerto Competition annually awards $2,500, $1,000, and $500, respectively, to the top three (3) high school musicians interested in being the guest soloist for the Marine Band in their upcoming concert season. First place will appear as a guest soloist with the Marine Chamber Orchestra during the upcoming concert season. The United States Marine Band, the premier band of the United States Marine Corps, is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization that has performed for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
This scholarship is open to students meeting the below eligibility criteria.

To apply for the scholarship, applicants must select ONE (1) work from the repertoire list and submit an unedited recording of their performance accompanied by piano, band or orchestra. Recordings must be submitted in the form of an unlisted Youtube video.
