Are you a Chickasaw student looking for a scholarship opportunity? If so, consider applying for the Chickasaw Nation General Scholarship! The scholarship is open to Chickasaw postsecondary students who take three or more credit hours per term and have a 3.0 or higher GPA. The Chickasaw Nation, the official website for the Native American tribe located in Oklahoma, offers this scholarship. They offer programs and services to enhance the overall quality of life for the Chickasaw people. They provide services in the arts, cultural preservation, education, employment and career opportunities, health care, housing, and more. To help Chickasaw youth afford college, their Chickasaw Nation General Scholarship awards $500 each to help deserving students pay for college. The scholarship is awarded on a triannual basis, with deadlines on February 15th, July 1st, and September 15th of every year. The scholarship is open to Chickasaw students who take three or more credit hours per term and meet the below eligibility requirements. Bear in mind that Full-time Chickasaw Nation employees are ineligible.
