The Chicana Latina Foundation Scholarship is looking for bright minds from Northern California counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, San Francisco, Sonoma, or Yolo) who self-identify as Chicana and/or Latina. Applicants must have lived in one of those Northern California counties for at least two (2) years at the time of application. Recipients are expected to participate in a year-long Leadership & Scholarship Program in the following ways: attend Leadership Institute sessions, receive a $1,500 scholarship, attend the Annual Award Dinner in January following their application year, and act as CLF Ambassadors for 10 hours.

The Chicana/Latina Foundation (CLF) is a non-profit organization which promotes professional and leadership development of Latinas. The Foundation's mission is to empower Chicanas/Latinas through personal, educational, and professional advancement. Their programs include a Scholarship Program, the Leadership Institute, and Skill-Building Workshops.
