Offered by CarBrain
Are you a U.S. citizen who will be enrolled in a U.S. college for the Spring 2023 semester? Further, are you interested in the automotive industry? If so, consider applying for the CarBrain Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 to one applicant who submits a 500 – 1,000 word essay best answering the year’s prompt. The prompts are often related to cars and/or the automotive industry, with this year’s being: “Is self-driving vehicle technology the way of the future? Why or why not?” Besides the essay, applicants must also submit proof of enrollment at their college. The scholarship is offered by CarBrain, a company that buys cars in less-than-perfect condition, like wrecked, broken-down, and collision-damaged cars.
