If so, the BOBS from Skechers Paws for a Cause Design Scholarship may be an amazing opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $10,000 to two applicants who create and submit the best dog or cat design to be put on shoes. In addition to the monetary reward, the winners will have their designed print produced on BOBS from Skechers shoes sold in the United States in the upcoming year. Further, if a local animal welfare organization of your choice meets the criteria of BOBS from Skechers’ donation partner, they will ensure that a donation is made in your area. BOBS from Skechers’ charitable collection of shoes, apparel and accessories have improved animals’ lives: over the past eight years, Skechers has contributed more than $10 million to help 1.9 million shelter pets, including saving more than 1.4 million rescued animals in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Japan. It all started in 2011, when Skechers launched a movement to support children impacted by natural disasters and poverty—a cause that has helped the company donate more than 16 million new pairs of shoes to kids in more than 60 countries worldwide.

In order to apply, interested students must submit the below application materials, an original cat or dog design graphic, and a short video or paragraph answering (1) what your rescued/adopted pet has meant to you or its owner or (2) why the BOBS mission resonates with or is important to you.
