Sadly, Bob unexpectedly passed away in December 2022, leading the Bob Gana Memorial Scholarship to be established in his honor. It aims to inspire and support individuals with a passion for welding, machining, or similar trades to further develop their talents. While it is open to anyone pursuing a post-high school education at a trade school, preference will be given to the children of current or retired union members. To apply for this prestigious scholarship, you have two options: craft a compelling 400-600 word essay or create a captivating short video explaining why attending a trade school is your aspiration.
