Offered by Association of American Indian Affairs
Are you a college student who’s part of an indigenous tribe? If so, consider applying for the Association of American Indian Affairs Undergrad & Grad Scholarships! The scholarships are open to full-time postsecondary students who are part of a federally recognized indigenous tribe from the U.S. or Alaska. They are offered by the Association of American Indian Affairs, the oldest non-profit organization created to serve Native Americans. Their mission has been to “support students who are connected to their Tribal Nation and Indian Country and wish to utilize their degree to serve their Nations” since their founding in 1947. The Association of American Indian Affairs focuses on protecting and preserving culture while educating indigenous American youth. Thus, multiple indigenous college students are awarded scholarships every year. So long as they maintain their eligibility and renewal requirements, the scholarship will last until they graduate. If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply!
