The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Scholarship Overview

Are you an engineering student with an interest in the field of nondestructive testing and evaluation? If so, consider applying for the ASNT Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship! The ASNT Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship is open to undergraduate students in the U.S. who major in engineering with an active interest in the field of nondestructive testing and evaluation.

The scholarship is offered by The American Society for Nondestructive Testing, a technical society dedicated to advancing the field of nondestructive testing. Each year, their Undergraduate Scholarship awards $3,000 to help three (3) lucky students pay for their school costs. Each recipient’s anticipated graduation date must be later than the date the award funds are to be distributed. If you’re an undergraduate engineering student planning on pursuing NDT/NDE as your specialization, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be an undergraduate student in the U.S. who majors in engineering and plans to choose NDT/NDE as their specialization. Each potential candidate's anticipated graduation date must be later than the date the award funds are to be distributed. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
