The Anna and John Kolesar Memorial Scholarship is an award worth CAN $1500 that recognizes and rewards academic excellence in students enrolled full-time in a program of study in an Alberta publicly funded post-secondary institution in a Faculty of Education.
To be eligible, applicants must be Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Protected Persons, and must have Alberta residency (whether through themselves or through their parents/partners). Additionally, applicants must be graduating from an Alberta high school in the current academic year, be from a family where neither parent obtained a university degree, and be enrolled full-time in a program of study in an Alberta publicly funded post-secondary institution in a Faculty of Education.
