    Scholarship Overview

    The AWS Foundation Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training. Applicants must also reside in an AWS District to be eligible. Each AWS District has up to 25 $1,000 scholarships to award each year, making this a great opportunity for students with a passion for welding. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply! Bear in mind that students enrolled in associate’s or bachelor’s degree programs are not eligible.
