The ALPFA/MassCPAs Foundation Scholarship was established to encourage Hispanic and Latino students who have demonstrated academic excellence and financial need to pursue a career in accounting in Massachusetts. This award is designated for academically excellent Hispanic or Latino graduate students, or Hispanic or Latino undergraduate students who have completed at least the first semester of his/her sophomore year by the time of application. Applicants must either (1) attend a college or university in Massachusetts or (2) attend a college or university out-of-state with a permanent address in Massachusetts. They should also demonstrate financial need, and have an intention to pursue a career in accounting in Massachusetts. Lastly, applicants must hold (free) student membership in ALPFA Boston.
