The AFCEA Joan Bowden ROTC Scholarship is presented annually to an ROTC student attending a university located in the AFCEA Mid-South Region of the United States. This includes the states of: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and northwest panhandle of Florida who is a student in the Air Force option. The applicant’s degree and major must meet the mission of AFCEA. Please visit the scholarship’s website to view the full list of qualified majors. A minimum of two letters of recommendation and a letter of Nomination from your ROTC unit Professor of Military Science, Professor of Naval Science, Professor of Aerospace Studies or designated Commanding Officer are required.
