Chapter was created after its founders saw their parents and grandparents being exploited by bad actors and decided to build a platform with the mission of putting seniors first. The Chapter Putting Seniors First Scholarship celebrates students who embody this value in their own lives by supporting, advocating for, and uplifting the older adults around them. Chapter is an independent Medicare advisor and brokerage dedicated to helping older adults confidently choose the right healthcare coverage for their needs. By providing personalized guidance, transparent advice, and ongoing support, Chapter is committed to putting seniors first in every interaction, ensuring they can navigate important healthcare decisions with clarity and confidence. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who demonstrate a meaningful commitment to the well-being of seniors in their families or communities. Support can take many forms: helping a grandparent understand Medicare options, volunteering at a senior center, assisting with technology, providing transportation, offering companionship, or advocating for better access to care. Big or small, these actions reflect compassion and responsibility across generations. By investing in students who care for and advocate for seniors, Chapter hopes to strengthen the bonds between generations and inspire lifelong service. Selection Criteria Scholarships360 will review applications and award this scholarship on the basis of: Quality, clarity, and originality of the applicant’s essay response Demonstrated academic effort and achievement, including but not limited to GPA (as evidenced by transcript or self-reported academic history) Alignment of the applicant’s experiences, goals, and interests with the purpose of the scholarship Finalists for this scholarship will be contacted for a brief interview.Show Less

The MyOTC.com Scholarship for Health Access is a $5,000 scholarship from Chapter to support the next generation of healthcare professionals. Open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, public health, or related fields, this scholarship invites students to think critically about one of the most important challenges in healthcare today: access. Many individuals, especially older adults, face barriers to everyday health and wellness, even when benefits are available. For example, the average senior enrolled in Medicare Advantage receives $400 annually in over-the-counter (OTC) health credits, yet a significant portion goes unused due to lack of awareness or accessibility. Through this scholarship, Chapter aims to highlight these gaps and support students who are passionate about improving health outcomes in their communities.

Mothers who have a desire to earn their college degree bring unique perspectives that greatly enhance their learning experiences; for some, motherhood is a vocation that enlightens like no other. Top scholarships with no GPA requirements:

You may be surprised how many great scholarships have no GPA requirements! We’ve compiled a list of some of these top scholarships based on the trustworthiness of the organization and the size of the awards. Take a look at our editors picks:

How to win scholarships with no GPA requirement:

While many scholarships with no GPA requirement may work more like a lottery system, many have a writing requirement as well. To help with that, check out some of our writing guides like “How to write a winning scholarship essay” or “Best ways to respond to a ‘Why do you deserve this scholarship?’ prompt.” Typically these kinds of scholarships have shorter essay prompts, so check out our advice on writing to 250 or 500 word limits as well!

It’s also a good idea to narrow your scholarship search in order to find scholarships tailored to your interests and demographics. The more niche a scholarship, the less applicants, so that means you might have a better chance to set yourself apart and win!

    Expert Perspective

    Expert Perspective

No matter your GPA, you should not be discouraged from applying for scholarships. I work with many students of varying GPA levels. If you are applying to scholarships with a lower GPA, you can always emphasize sports or hobbies, or any extracurriculars or services, or anything about you that makes you unique. You can also look for scholarships that help represent your identity or demographic.

Frequently asked questions about scholarships with no GPA requirements:

Can I get a scholarship with bad grades?

Yes! Many scholarships do not take academic standing into consideration when picking winners. So, even with a low GPA there are plenty of opportunities to win money for your education.

What GPA is required for most scholarships?

While there are many scholarships with no GPA requirement at all, other scholarships do have requirements, typically ranging from at least a 3.0 or above. Any scholarship that considers academic excellence in the application process is usually considered a merit based scholarship.

How do I find scholarships with a low number of applicants?

The best way to find scholarships with low amounts of applicants is to consider your own strengths, interests, demographics, and location. The more specified the scholarship applicant pool is, the less applicants there will be. Seeking out scholarships at local organizations is also a great way to find less popular scholarships, as local scholarships are usually not as widely advertised.
