The scholarship is open to underrepresented students enrolled in a Flatiron School program who are looking for financial assistance to afford their schooling costs. Eligible applicants include women, underrepresented minorities, people with disabilities, veterans, LGBTQ+ students, and low-income students. Through the Access scholarship, the Flatiron School hopes to provide opportunities for students who are motivated despite the challenges they face. Thus, every year, select scholarship applicants are chosen to earn up to $5,000 to help cover tuition for full-time programs. It is offered by the Francisco Gella Dance Works with the intention to teach young dancers and support them on their dance journey, and was created in honor of Joan Myers Brown. Joan was a famed entrepreneur, artist, and visionary, who believed that every motivated student can succeed when given the right opportunities. The Ralph W. Shrader Graduate Diversity Scholarship is offering multiple $3000 scholarships to full-time students who are women or minorities. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in at least their second semester and taking at least two semester-equivalent courses towards a graduate degree at any accredited academic institution in the US. The scholarship is open to those living in the US and pursuing an eligible major that supports the mission of AFCEA Educational Foundation. Applicants must have an expected graduation date that is not in the year the scholarship is awarded and must provide a minimum of two letters of recommendation. If so, the Boule Foundation Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $7,000 each to multiple Black high school seniors who will be attending a four-year university in the Fall following their high school graduation. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA in order to be eligible. However, the scholarship may be received for up to four years so long as recipients continue to meet the renewal requirements (2.7+ GPA and full-time enrollment).
