Boston University (also commonly referred to as BU) is a large research university located in Boston, MA. BU has over 30,000 students and offers bachelors degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees across 17 different schools. Need-Based Scholarships

BU Merit Scholarships
Boston University scholarships include some really lucrative merit scholarship awards that range from $20,000 to full tuition. Merit scholarships are quite competitive at BU. Per the BU website, merit scholarship candidates usually fit the following criteria:
- Rank in the top 5% of their high school class
- Have SAT scores above 1500 and ACT scores above 33
- Have shown incredible extracurricular achievements in their schools and communities
