Looking for scholarships that award between $5,000 – $10,000 to winners? We’ve vetted the following $5,000-$10,000 scholarships so you can apply with confidence. Scholarships with award amounts between 5 and 10 thousand are a huge help to pay for your education. However, they also tend to be more competitive than smaller scholarships. These scholarships are all selected by award amount, but remember we have scholarship lists by interest, background, and much more at our scholarship directory. You can also sign up for a free account to get custom matches, updated daily.
We helped over 5 million students find scholarships in 2025
We've spent over 4,000 hours reviewing 3,000 scholarship programs
13+ years of experience helping students make smart education decisions

Chapter was created after its founders saw their parents and grandparents being exploited by bad actors and decided to build a platform with the mission of putting seniors first. The Chapter Putting Seniors First Scholarship celebrates students who embody this value in their own lives by supporting, advocating for, and uplifting the older adults around them. Chapter is an independent Medicare advisor and brokerage dedicated to helping older adults confidently choose the right healthcare coverage for their needs. By providing personalized guidance, transparent advice, and ongoing support, Chapter is committed to putting seniors first in every interaction, ensuring they can navigate important healthcare decisions with clarity and confidence. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who demonstrate a meaningful commitment to the well-being of seniors in their families or communities. Support can take many forms: helping a grandparent understand Medicare options, volunteering at a senior center, assisting with technology, providing transportation, offering companionship, or advocating for better access to care. Big or small, these actions reflect compassion and responsibility across generations. By investing in students who care for and advocate for seniors, Chapter hopes to strengthen the bonds between generations and inspire lifelong service. Selection Criteria Scholarships360 will review applications and award this scholarship on the basis of: Quality, clarity, and originality of the applicant’s essay response Demonstrated academic effort and achievement, including but not limited to GPA (as evidenced by transcript or self-reported academic history) Alignment of the applicant’s experiences, goals, and interests with the purpose of the scholarship Finalists for this scholarship will be contacted for a brief interview.Show Less

The MyOTC.com Scholarship for Health Access is a $5,000 scholarship from Chapter to support the next generation of healthcare professionals. Open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, public health, or related fields, this scholarship invites students to think critically about one of the most important challenges in healthcare today: access. Many individuals, especially older adults, face barriers to everyday health and wellness, even when benefits are available. For example, the average senior enrolled in Medicare Advantage receives $400 annually in over-the-counter (OTC) health credits, yet a significant portion goes unused due to lack of awareness or accessibility. Through this scholarship, Chapter aims to highlight these gaps and support students who are passionate about improving health outcomes in their communities.
