Experience

Kayla has always loved writing and finding new ways to explain concepts and tell stories. She has been writing for Scholarships360 since 2021, and she graduated from the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC Chapel Hill in the same year. Since then, Kayla works as a Clinical Research Communications Specialist at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. In this position, she helps communicate the findings and progress of research studies. In both these positions, Kayla enjoys sharing important information and knowledge with those who need it.

In her free time, Kayla crochets, paints, goes outside, and spends time with friends and family.
