The YASME Foundation Scholarship is calling all students with a General Class or higher US Amateur Radio license who are studying Sciences or Engineering at a four-year college or university. If you’re an active member of a local Amateur Radio Club and have a passion for community service, you’ll be given preference. High school applicants in the top 5%-10% of their class and college students in the top 10% will also be given preference. If you’re selected for the scholarship, you will be required to provide YASME with a brief report of your Amateur Radio activities at the end of the school year.
ARRL is the national association for Amateur Radio in the US. Founded in 1914 by Hiram Percy Maxim as The American Radio Relay League, ARRL is a noncommercial organization of radio amateurs.
