Are you a college or graduate student who will be presenting on Willa Cather’s work at a major conference? If so, consider applying for the Willa Cather Foundation Scholarship for Student Research! The scholarship is open to upper-level college and graduate students who complete original research on or related to work from the American author Willa Cather. The scholarship is offered by the Willa Cather Foundation, a non-profit organization formed in 1955 to “promote and encourage increased understanding and appreciation” of Willa Cather’s works. On a rolling basis, the scholarship awards $400 to chosen student researchers. If you are fascinated by the life and writing of Willa Cather and interested in presenting research on it, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information
This scholarship is open to college upperclassmen and graduate students who will be presenting a paper related to Willa Cather at a major conference. Applicants must have travel and registration expenses not already covered.
