Are you soon applying to or enrolling at Western Michigan University? If you are, and you demonstrate verifiable financial need and a strong academic record, the Western Michigan University Foundation Scholarship could subsidize a very substantial amount of your education! This competitive scholarship offers $16,000 per year in funding to incoming freshmen at the university. Students must complete a separate application for the scholarship in addition to their college application. If you are considering attending the university, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information
To qualify as low income, students must be enrolled in or eligible to participate in the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch program, be a ward of the state, be an orphan, be in foster care, or be homeless, as determined by their district’s McKinney-Vento Liaison. Alternatively, undocumented/DACA applicants also may qualify as low-income. All applicants must also fulfill the eligibility criteria below.
