The “We the Students Scholarship Essay Contest” is funded by the Bill of Rights Institute, an organization that teaches civics and equips students and teachers to live the ideals of a free and just society. Every year, their “We the Students Scholarship Essay Contest” awards up to $7,500 to multiple 8th-12th graders who submit an essay that demonstrates an understanding of natural rights.
