Are you a rising college freshman or sophomore who will be attending a university in Washington State and has an interest in becoming an accountant? If so, consider applying for the Washington CPA Foundation Associate Accounting Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $2,000 to the top 20 applicants who hold a minimum 2.5 GPA and submit the best responses to the two essay prompts. Applicants must also submit their transcripts and the contact information for one reference. The Washington CPA Foundation's purpose is to strengthen and expand the profession by advancing and investing in the accounting profession. The Washington CPA Foundation provides scholarships for college-level accounting students and PhD candidates to enhance the knowledge within the accounting profession. In addition, the Foundation provides grants to organizations with programs or events designed to improve the diversity of the CPA pipeline in Washington.
