The Walter L. Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Awards are open to high school seniors who will be graduating in January or June of the current school year and who will be enrolled in a higher education facility in the next school year. Applicants must be the child, stepchild, or legally adopted child of a member of the International Chemical Workers Union Council (ICWUC) to be eligible. Applicants’ ICWUC member relatives must have held continuous membership for at least a year before March of the current year.

The International Chemical Workers Union Council has been organizing workers for more than 60 years, from all types of workplaces. They can help almost anybody that wants to join, anywhere in the United States, Canada, or any US possession in the Caribbean.
