    Scholarship Overview

    The Wadsworth International Fellowships are intended to provide support for students undertaking study leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree at universities where they can receive international-level training in anthropology. These fellowships are available only to students from countries where anthropology is underrepresented and where there are limited resources to send students overseas for training. Priority is given to applicants who have not already begun graduate training abroad, and who are likely to return to an academic position in their home country upon completion of their degree. In addition to a completed application, applicants must submit letters from both their Home Sponsor and the Host Sponsor, a detailed budget, official transcripts, curriculum vitae, and evidence of their fluency in the language of the institution where they will be pursuing training.
