Are you a registered dietitian or a dietetic graduate student? If so, consider applying for the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group Research Grant! The Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group Research Grant is open to registered dietitians and dietetic graduate/doctoral students who are members of the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group.
The grant is offered by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, an organization of food and nutrition professionals that offers information on nutrition and health to help individuals prevent or better manage their health conditions. Every two years, the grant awards $10,000 to one (1) lucky student to help fund his/her research related to vegetarianism or vegetarian nutrition. If you’re passionate about conducting vegetarianism-related research and are looking for some help to fund it, we encourage you to apply!
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a registered dietitian or dietetic graduate/doctoral student who is a member of Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.

To apply for this scholarship, students must submit an online application, a midterm, a final research report, and the below application materials. Applicants must also submit one of the following: an article to the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group for possible publication in "Vegetarian Nutrition Update" or a poster or educational session for presentation at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo.
