  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months

Scholarship Overview

Are you an incoming college freshman under the age of 21 who has been adopted or exited foster care to permanent guardianship at or after the age of thirteen (13)? If so, the UmpsCare All-Star College Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 to one incoming college freshman under the age of 21 who has been adopted or lived in foster care. The scholarship may be received for up to four years (for a total of $40,000) so long as recipients continue to meet renewal requirements.
