Scholarship Overview

Are you a college student interested in serving in the U.S. Air Force? If so, consider applying for the U.S. Air Force In-College Scholarship Program! The ISCP is open to college freshmen and sophomores in specific majors whose universities host an Air Force ROTC program and who have completed at least one term as full-time students.

The U.S. Air Force ROTC offers the scholarship program as a way to support students and develop leaders for future members of the air force. Thus, students who are selected for the program must accept a commission as an Air or Space Force officer and serve at least four years on active duty. In addition to this, chosen applicants may receive scholarships in varying amounts to help with their tuition costs. Bear in mind that there is no formal application process for the Program. Rather, Air Force ROTC staff evaluate and nominate cadets themselves. For more details on the In-College Scholarship Program, we recommend contacting your school’s AFROTC detachment.
