Are you aged 13 – 24 and leading or contributing to a project that addresses ocean, waterways, and/or climate change issues in your local communities through a creative arts lens? If so, the True Blue Fellowship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the Fellowship awards funding of up to $2,500 for 10 such youth-led projects. Participants may be located anywhere in the world and may compete individually or in a group of unlimited size. Applications will be evaluated based on how well the project aligns with the Fellowship Program’s goals, demonstrates issue knowledge, is thoughtful in its approach, is realistic in its goals (which includes the demonstration of an appropriate budget and timeline), and is likely to result in measurable impacts. Working at the intersection of ocean science and arts education, our award-winning programming emphasizes creative thinking and making in exploring the natural world. Their flagship educational initiative, the Ocean Awareness Contest, is the world’s largest environmental youth program for the creative arts.
