The Tricia LeVangie Green/Sustainable Design Scholarship is open to undergraduate students majoring in Interior Design or a related field with a focus on the evolving green/sustainable field of study. Applicants must be planning to become educated participants in the green movement and should be demonstrating creative use of green products and eco-friendly furnishings in their class projects. The student must also be familiar with current information in the green/sustainable field, be applying this knowledge in classwork, and have a goal of seeking a future LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation. The completed application packet must include the following: a transcript that verifies status and shows the applicant’s GPA, a 200-400-word essay, one Design Project, a letter of recommendation, and two images of different examples of work.
