Are you a full-time undergraduate student in the U.S. who has applied or been accepted to a study abroad program through your university? If so, consider applying for the Tortuga Study Abroad scholarship! Each application cycle, the scholarship awards $1,000 + 1 travel backpack to an eligible applicant. The scholarship is biannual, with deadlines on November 15th and April 15th. In order to apply, you must submit an online application and essay (maximum of 500 words) about what you hope to learn while abroad and how you plan on applying that newfound knowledge when you return to the U.S. The scholarship is offered by Tortuga, an online retailer of travel backpacks for all your travel needs.
