Are you a Yale student or graduate of Asian ethnic heritage who plans on serving the Asian American community? If so, consider applying for the Tina E. Yeh Community Service Fellowship! The fellowship is open to Asian Yale students and recent graduates who plan on interning at a nonprofit that serves the Asian American or Asian Canadian community in the U.S. or Canada.
The scholarship is offered by the Asian Pacific Fund, a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California. They look to strengthen the Asian and Pacific Islander community by supporting vulnerable members through philanthropy. This fellowship is in honor of Tina E. Yeh, who was a dedicated ethnic counselor at Yale. Every year, the fellowship awards $5,000 to help one passionate applicant who will be interning for ten weeks at a nonprofit organization that serves Asians. If you are passionate about helping the Asian community through nonprofit service and are in financial need, we encourage you to apply!
The scholarship is open to Yale students and recent graduate students of Asian ethnic heritage who plan on doing direct service for the Asian American or Asian Canadian community in North America. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
