For the third year, the Vulcan/Hobart Equipment Grant program will award equipment to one school district in need of improving its school meal kitchen facilities through a competitive grant process. Applicants must be current director-level members of the School Nutrition Association, who have been members of SNA for at least one year (since at least January 1, 2021) and are responsible for directing the school nutrition program of the school district. Applications must represent the entire school district’s equipment needs. Applications will be reviewed for need, plan to integrate new equipment and impact of new equipment on school nutrition program. If you are a finalist, you will be asked to create a 2-3 minute video displaying your kitchen equipment.
The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) is an independent 501(c)(3) and the charitable arm of the School Nutrition Association since 1964.
