The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Scholarship Overview

Are you an incoming or current college student who has had cancer? If so, consider applying for the Simon Cancer Foundation Scholarship! The scholarship is open to students who have had cancer and will be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the U.S. for the upcoming Fall. The Simon Cancer Foundation was created in honor of Harvey Simon who bravely fought his Multiple Myeloma. The foundation aims to help cancer patients achieve their educational goals through scholarships and donations to educational programs. Every year, winners of the Simon Cancer Foundation Scholarship receive financial assistance for their education in varying amounts. If you have struggled with cancer and are looking for an opportunity to fund your education, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information

This scholarship is open to incoming and current postsecondary students enrolled in a university or college in the U.S. Past recipients are not eligible to reapply, and all applicants must sign a statement confirming they have had any type of cancer during their lifetime. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
