Are you a current college upperclassman majoring in fashion merchandising, retailing, or marketing? If so, consider applying for the Joe Goldstein Memorial Scholarship in Fashion and Retailing! The scholarship is open to college students interested in careers in fashion merchandising or related areas of study. The scholarship is funded by the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation. The foundation focuses on “being a resource hub where individuals and nonprofits alike can be supported in their endeavors without the worry of bias or competition.” Since 1986, the scholarship has honored the memory of Joe Goldstein by maintaining his efforts of advancing higher education. Thus, every year, the scholarship awards up to $5,105 to help support fashion students’ educational goals. If you are passionate about your career in fashion merchandising and are looking to offset the cost, we would first recommend checking out the foundation’s eligibility requirements to ensure your eligibility. Eligibility information
The scholarship is open to college upperclassmen with a preference given to students from the tri-county area (Collin, Dallas, and Denton). You are also eligible if you qualify for one of the other requirements listed on their website. Applicants must also be majoring in a fashion-related field and meet the below eligibility requirements.
