The Jackson Laboratory College Scholarship Program seeks aspiring biomedicine professionals from underserved backgrounds in Connecticut, Maine, and Sacramento County, California. The Jackson Laboratory’s mission is to find genomic solutions for disease, and these scholarships will be given to students who share this goal by pursuing a career in research or medicine. To be eligible, applicants must also have a minimum 3.5 high school GPA and demonstrate either significant financial need or status as a first-generation college student. They must also be nominated by a teacher, administrator, or guidance counselor.
