Are you an academically impressive high school junior who intends to enroll full-time in an accredited U.S. institution of higher education upon graduation from high school? Further, do you believe in the importance of community service and have an interest in public policy? If so, The Coolidge Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards full-ride, presidential scholarships that cover a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study. To be eligible, students must plan to attend a college or university in the United States and have an interest in public policy. Coolidge scholars will be selected based upon the following criteria: academic excellence, demonstrated interest in public policy, humility and service, and appreciation for the values Coolidge championed. The Coolidge Foundation is the official foundation dedicated to preserving the legacy and promoting the values of America’s 30th president. The Foundation was formed in 1960 by John Coolidge, the president’s son, along with a group of fellow Coolidge enthusiasts. The Foundation is based at the president’s birthplace in Plymouth Notch, Vermont. It seeks to greatly increase Americans’ understanding of President Coolidge and the values he promoted.
