The Team Type 1 Global Ambassador Scholarship Program is funded by the Team Type 1 Foundation, a diabetes and sports organization that looks to “instill hope and inspiration for people around the world affected by diabetes.” Every year, the Team Type 1 Foundation awards up to $10,000 to multiple athletes with Type-1 Diabetes who attend an NAIA/NCAA school and play a sanctioned sport for their school.
