Are you a college junior studying English or literature? If so, consider applying for the Sigma Tau Delta Junior Scholarship! The scholarship is open to undergraduate students in their junior year pursuing a degree in English or a related discipline. The scholarship is offered by Sigma Tau Delta, an international English honor society founded in 1924 at Dakota Wesleyan University. Sigma Tau Delta believes in serving society by fostering literacy, recognizing writers’ accomplishments, and supporting undergraduates and graduates in the field. The scholarship was created in honor of E. Nelson James, long-time Executive Secretary for the Society, to recognize future writers. Recipients of the scholarship receive up to $3,000 to use toward their education expenses. If you are a college junior passionate about the written word and would like some help with tuition and other costs, we encourage you to apply!
The scholarship is open to full-time current undergraduate juniors pursuing a degree in either English, literature, language, writing, or literacy.
