Are you a current or incoming college student passionate about advocacy and who has worked at or whose parents have worked at an Asian restaurant? If so, consider applying for the Shui Kuen and Allen Chin Scholarship! The scholarship is open to current and incoming undergraduate students who are (or whose parents are) currently/formerly employed at an Asian-owned or Asian cuisine restaurant. Applicants should also be involved in advocacy and social justice work for progressive causes of their choice. This scholarship works to honor Shui Kuen and Allen Chin and supports students in their educational pursuits. Each year, two recipients are chosen to receive a $1,000 award.

The Asian Pacific Fund is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California that offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for students. They look to strengthen the Asian and Pacific Islander community by supporting vulnerable members through philanthropy.
