Offered by P.L.A.Y. (Pet Lifestyle and You)
Are you a full-time high school senior who is passionate about working with animals in need? The Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship may be a good fit for you! Every year, Pet Lifestyle and You (PLAY) offers a $1,500 scholarship to a lucky student who writes a compelling essay about their experience working with animals in need. Second and third place winners are awarded $300 and $200, respectively. PLAY is a quality dog bed provider that attempts to meet the comfort needs of all dogs.
This scholarship is easy to apply to, only requiring the submission of a 500-1,000 word essay. If you’re passionate about the work you have done with animals in need, then writing that essay should be no problem for you! If you want to receive help paying for college simply for your love and care for animals, then we encourage you to apply to the Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship!

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time high school senior in the U.S. who volunteers with animals in need. You must also meet the eligibility criteria below.

Application information
To apply for this scholarship, students must submit 2-3 photos of their volunteer efforts with animals in need in addition to the below application materials. On your application, you must include your full name, date of birth, email address, postal address, high school you are currently enrolled in, and a phone number to contact.
