The Salt River Electric Scholarship Program offers two fantastic scholarship opportunities: the Salt River Electric Scholarship for current high school seniors, and the Larry Hicks Memorial Scholarship for current college students. The Salt River Electric Scholarship will award $1,000 each to two high school students from each Salt River Electric district in Kentucky. While one must be planning on attending a traditional college or university, the other must be planning on pursuing a career through a trade or vocational program at an accredited school.
The Larry Hicks Memorial Scholarship, on the other hand, will award $2,000 to one current college student from Salt River Electric’s service area who is actively pursuing a degree in accounting or finance at an accredited college or university.
