The Rogers Family Scholarship is open to all New Jersey residents who are pursuing a degree in environmental science or a related field! Eligible fields include, but are not limited to, environmental science, natural resource management, conservation, and park administration. If you’re an undergraduate or graduate student currently pursuing a degree in such a field, you’re eligible to apply. All you need is an academic average equivalent to a 3.0 or higher and two letters of recommendation – one from a community or business reference and one from an academic reference. The Land Conservancy of New Jersey is dedicated to preserving, restoring, and caring for land and water resources, inspiring and empowering individuals and communities to protect open space. They acknowledge Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The Conservancy also works to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
