The Research Grant Program to Assist Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies is a fantastic opportunity for professors, associate professors, assistant professors, post-doctoral researchers, and doctoral candidates in departments related to Chinese studies at foreign universities. This program is also open to researchers at related foreign academic institutes. Depending on the applicant’s university position, they have the opportunity to receive between NT$ 40,000 (~$1,310 USD) and NT$ 60,000 (~$1,964 USD) as a monthly grant to support their research abroad. The research should be conducted in Taiwan, with a focus on Taiwan or Chinese studies. To apply, submit a curriculum vitae that includes a list of publications.
