Are you an LGBTQ+ individual or ally who resides in Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph, or Alamance County (NC) and is planning on pursuing post-secondary education? If so, you might want to consider applying for the PFLAG Greensboro Carter Stroupe Memorial Scholarship! Dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ students and allies pay for educational expenses, the scholarship awards up to $2,000 to multiple students each year. In addition to their identity as an LGBTQ+ individual or ally, applicants must also demonstrate that they have previously served or intend to serve the LGBTQ+ community. Eligibility information
In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must be a resident of Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph, or Alamance County in North Carolina, be currently attending or applying to attend a certification-granting technical/vocational program OR a university in pursuit of an undergraduate degree, and have demonstrated service helping the LGBTQ+ community or have a desire to serve the LGBTQ+ community.
