Are you a college student who is a PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) member, the spouse of a member, or an unmarried child (under 24 years of age) who is dependent (as defined by the IRS) on a PVA member for principal support? If so, you may be eligible for the Paralyzed Veterans of America Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 and $2,500 each, respectively, to part- and full-time college students who meet the eligibility criteria. PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) was founded by a band of service members who came home from World War II with spinal cord injuries. These wounded heroes made a decision not just to live, but to live with dignity as contributors to society. Since 1946, Paralyzed Veterans of America has been on a mission to change lives and build brighter futures for seriously injured heroes. They've had a single-minded mission—to empower brave men and women to regain what they fought for: their freedom and independence.
