Are you a current or incoming undergraduate student who has (1) been in the custody of a public children service agency for at least one day after the age of 13 and (2) has been accepted to or is currently attending a post-secondary institution in Ohio? If so, the Ohio Reach Scholarship may be a good opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards a renewable award that grants $1,000 per semester to three (3) current or incoming students at Ohio universities who have been in the custody of a public children service agency for at least one day after the age of 13. The scholarship may be received for up to five years (ten semesters) total so long as recipients continue to meet renewal criteria. They provide resources to institutions of higher education, child welfare agencies, and foster care alumni enrolled in higher education to support their academic success.
